Here's a small plant with adorable pink blooms and dense, grass-like foliage.  Pink Tickseed attracting songbirds and butterflies as well as a host of other pollinators.

The flowers bloom for about 4 weeks in summer, and the plants benefit from being divided every few years.  The plants may re-bloom in fall after a summer pruning.

Pink Tickseed is easy to grow in sunny, moist, open sites and can form colonies.  It also makes a great groundcover as long as it gets consistent moisture.
