Sea Lavender is a beautiful flower of coastal areas and salt marshes.  Its small, purple flowers bloom all summer long and are coveted as dried arrangements and for making wreaths.

Sea Lavender likes elbow room, and it will not grow in the shade.  Try pairing it with Beach Grass.
