Golden yellow fall blooms and small, roundish leaves make for a lovely garden plant. 'Golden Fleece' Autumn Goldenrod is more compact and better behaved than the straight species.

'Golden Fleece' is a member of the Mt. Cuba Collection, plants cultivated for exceptional ecological and ornamental values.  More information here

This cultivar was found growing in a garden in North Carolina in 1985 and propagated by Mt. Cuba.
