Heritage Birch has an orangish-brown outer bark that peels back revealing a creamy white inner bark that is almost as white as the coveted Paper Birch of northern climates.
Heritage is slightly smaller than River Birch but has the same four-season interest with spring catkins, green summer foliage, brilliant yellow fall leaves and exfoliating winter bark. It makes an ideal speciman tree and tolerates medium soil once established.
