Smooth Oxeye Sunflower is one of our most popular plants, producing a profusion of cheery, yellow blooms atop firm but skinny and nearly leafless stems. It is a fine plant for any garden, easy to grow, adaptable to most soils and with a preference for full sun.
It also makes a nice vertical accent and goes well with the tall purples: Joe Pye Weed New York Ironweed, New England Aster, etc.
