Our mulch is organic, all-natural, medium textured cedar by Coast of Maine.  The aromatic, ground aged bark is long-lasting and slow to break down.  It will help retain soil moisture and keep weeds at bay.
 
This mulch is a light, golden-brown color, harvested from Northern White Cedar in New Brunswick, Canada.
 
Use our mulch around your perennial beds while waiting for your ground covers to fill in and over the roots of your trees to keep them cool and moist.  Mulch should go over the roots but not against the tree trunk.  Keep the mulch at least three inches from the trunk so the trunk remains open and airy.
