This beautiful fern's little fiddleheads emerge pink in the spring, maturing to blue-green and taking on a fan-shaped appearance.

The fronds are feathery and attached to dark, wiry stems that in themselves provide ornamental interest.

Maidenhair Fern attracts songbirds for food and cover, and it is highly resistant to deer.

Maidenhair Fern grows naturally in moist woods and slopes.
