Canada Windflower is one of the easiest plants to grow.  It likes full sun and prefers moist soil.  It blooms all spring, featuring white petals with yellow centers.

After blooming Canada Windflower leaves a lovely mat of fern-like foliage, making it an excellent groundcover and native alternative to the invasive periwinkle.

Canada Windflower spreads by rhizomes and will easily fill an open area, tamping out competitors including invasives AND creating a beautiful array.

Plant Canada Windflower in an open, moist area where you want it to spread.
