Meadowsweet's fuzzy white flowers bloom from the top down all summer long, buzzing with bees and other pollinators. It's also a larval host to the Spring Azure butterfly.
Meadowsweet spreads to form small colonies but is not considered aggressive.
Deadheading spent flowers will encourage more blooms. Meadowsweet is a great native alternative to Japanese spiraea.
