Virginia Rose is a beautiful, prickly bush with lovely pink, 5-petaled blooms throughout the summers. Considered a pollinator powerhouse, it attracts butterflies and songbirds. Fall foliage is red to purple.
The fruit, called hips, is rich in vitamin C and a good addition to jams or steeped to make rose hips tea.
