Gray Birch features bright-green triangular leaves and chalky white non-exfoliating bark that darkens with age (don't we all!).

A great tree for moist areas, Gray Birch does well in full sun to part shade.  Short lived (30 to 50 years) but long on wildlife benefit Gray Birch feeds and shelters birds and hosts hundreds of moth and butterfly larvae.
