Mapleleaf Viburnum offers great three-season interest with its spring blooms, rich summer foliage and stunning fall berries.  Also in fall its leaves turn the landscape into a burst of color with yellows, pinks, reds and oranges.

Mapleleaf Viburnum is a great shrub for dry, shady areas, and while it spreads by underground stems, it also works well in a garden setting.  Try it along a woodland border or as a low hedge.

Pollinators also love Mapleleaf Viburnum, which also is a larval host to the Henry's Elfin butterfly.  Birds feast on the berries.

As with all viburnums, two are needed for fruit.
