Prairie Dropseed is among the few Midwest grasses that also is native to New England. It's also widely hailed as among the most beautiful and elegant of the native grasses.
Prairie Dropseed will do well in any garden that is sunny and medium to dry.
Its pinkish panicles flourish in late summer, and in the fall it takes on golden hues.
Note: Cut back in winter for a tidy look and in preparation for spring growth.
